Vinny Guadagnino of Jersey Shore posted on Instagram this week that he thinks COVID-19 doesn’t make sense. Fans are not happy about this new revelation.
During the coronavirus pandemic, many celebrities have been accused of not paying attention to social distancing rules. The Kardashians in particular have been under fire for not wearing masks, traveling, and throwing parties. Justin and Hailey Bieber are among the many celebs who have thrown large parties. Influencers on Tik Tok and YouTube have also flaunted the rules and contributed to the spread of the virus. COVID-19 cases are currently on the rise as the country heads into winter and the holiday season. A second round of lockdowns recently shut down restaurants and bars that were offering outdoor seating. The number of people not following social distancing rules or believing the virus is a hoax is staggering and contributes heavily to the continuing spread of coronavirus.

Vinny Guadagnino, a member of the Jersey Shore cast and star of Double Shot At Love and Revenge Prank, recently posted an Instagram story about COVID-19 that had fans raging. Meaww reports Vinny posted a gif of himself from Jersey Shore saying, “That makes no sense to me,” and captioned it, “Every time I have a conversation about COVID.” Without the context of whether he was talking to people who didn’t believe in COVID or not, fans took it as a sign he thought COVID wasn’t real. The comments were harsh, with people saying things like, “Ever since I heard where you stand on a lot of things I’m like wow SUSSS,” and “Come on! Insensitive to the 200,000+ Americans who have lost a family member to covid.”
However, Vinny has since cleared up his stance on COVID-19. He posted an Instagram story on December 1 with a Reel from comedian Joe Rogan criticizing California officials’ response to the pandemic. He captioned it, “COVID is real. These ‘leaders’ are not.” Fans will be relieved that Vinny does not think coronavirus is a hoax. He recently bought a $3.5 million house in the Hollywood Hills and threw himself a 33rd birthday party, but social distancing rules were reportedly enforced. The Staten Island native has also recently been seen out with Love & Hip Hop star Nikki Mudarris. The news of their romance comes after the finale of Double Shot At Love, which ended with Vinny splitting from his love interest, Maria Elizondo. He was also seen on a date with Too Hot To Handle star Francesca Farago in the spring.
Now that Vinny’s stance on COVID has been cleared up, fans can go back to cheering on the Keto Guido. Here’s hoping everyone who is currently battling COVID-19 recovers quickly.
