Big Ed continues to get a rise of out his followers on social media. The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star is known for taking a liking to younger women. This is something that he’s constantly criticized over. He recently shared a selfie with a woman he deemed a “good friend.”

Big Ed was portrayed as the villain on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4. He appeared on the show with his ex-girlfriend, Rosemarie Vega after he relocated to the Philippines to be with her. However, while working to build a genuine relationship with her, he only offended her and viewers with his haughty demands. Cameras filmed him criticizing his girlfriend’s physical appearance and lifestyle. Fans called him out after he told Rosa Vega to shave her legs. He even told her to brush her teeth because of her bad breath, which she told him was because of her stomach ulcer. But he took things further when he asked her to get an STD test despite not agreeing to get one himself. The two were bound to break up, and once they did, fans applauded Rose for her beautiful glow up.

Ed on the other hand hasn’t been well received by fans. His social media posts are often at the receiving end of harsh criticism from his followers. His most recent post is no different. He took to Instagram on Thursday to share a selfie of him smirking alongside a pretty young woman. “Good friends are hard to find but easy to lose, glad you’re back D,” he captioned the photo while tagging her as Diane Choi Choi. While some fans called the pair “cute,” others told Ed to watch out. “She’s just there because your famous. Don’t let em take advantage,” another user wrote.

The TLC star is no stranger to backlash on social media. He previously tried his hand at promoting his merch line. But, fans were quick to shut it down and tell him they’d rather “eat gas station sushi” than buy anything from his merch line.

He also recently showed his love for actress and comedian Awkwafina. But, instead of fans agreeing with his admiration for the Crazy Rich Asians star, they accused him of “stalking” her. In addition to getting roasted over his drumming video, Big Ed’s fans claimed to be “grossed out” by his recent “Ed and Shoulders” video spoof. It seems like it’ll take a lot more from Big Ed to shake his bad boy image.
