Why Brittany Banks Felt ‘Stuck’ With Yazan Abu Hurira

Brittany Banks of 90 Day Fiance is opening up about how she felt ‘stuck’ during her relationship with her Jordanian boyfriend Yazan Abu Hurira.

Brittany Banks and Yazan Abu Hurira have been off to a rough start on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Brittany has been struggling with marrying her Jordanian boyfriend due to cultural differences and still being legally married to her ex. Now, the TLC star is revealing how ‘stuck’ she initially felt in her long-distance relationship with Yazan.

Like other 90 Day Fiancé couples, Brittany and Yazan met online and fell in love despite living in different parts of the world. Brittany leaves Florida and arrives in Jordan on a 90-day visa in hopes of marrying Yazan, but she continues to put off the subject. While she told Yazan and his parents she wanted to wait for her parents to arrive, the real truth is that Brittany is still married to someone else. To make matters worse, Yazan was thrown out of his home and threatened to be killed by his father due to his lack of support for his son’s relationship. “I had to stay on the street for two days,” Yazan revealed on the show. “Then I rented an apartment and looked for work. I don’t talk to anyone. I spend time alone.”

In a recent interview with ET, Brittany opened up about how much pressure she felt from Yazan’s family situation as a result of their romance. “It’s very heavy, especially when you find out after someone has made all those sacrifices and then told you these are the sacrifices they made, you know, it’s heavy,” Brittany explained. “Because you feel like, now you’re into something that you had no part of getting yourself into, really, because you kept telling this person not to do this, not to do that, and they decided to do it anyway and then told you they did it for you.”

She went on to explain why she “felt stuck” due to all the pressure. “I felt very stuck and I felt like the world was kind of crashing down around me because I never want to be in the position where somebody’s life is in danger because of the love that they have for me,” she said. The TLC star went on to explain how she doesn’t want Yazan’s life to be burdened because of his love for her. “I never want to be in a position where someone is losing everything that they love because of me. I’ll definitely let that person go before it even gets to that point. I want people to be better because of me. I don’t want them to get worse. So, it was a really, really hard situation.”

90 Day fans have been fully immersed in Brittany and Yazan’s dramatic love story. The family drama alone is enough to make fans skeptical about if the two will make it or not.
