Lisa Barlow is calling out Mary Cosby and the other “pot stirrers” on the newest housewives franchise, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Bravo’s new series The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is already gearing up to be another drama-filled edition of the hit franchise. Ahead of the November 11 season premiere, housewife Lisa Barlow dished on her co-stars and called out the “pot stirrers.” It appears Lisa and Mary Cosby have already rubbed each other the wrong way.
The Housewives franchise is headed to the slopes of Salt Lake City, Utah. In the newest series, fans are introduced to Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Jennifer Shah, and Meredith Marks. Located in the same city as the Mormon church headquarters, the ladies’ religious beliefs and strict practices make way for some dramatic encounters. Lisa Barlow is an NYC native that has been living in Utah for the last 20 years. The owner of LUXE marketing and VIDA tequila, Lisa is a boss in every sense of the word. A fellow Mormon, Lisa considers herself a “Mormon 2.0,” as she refuses to follow the traditional and often strict views of the church.

After living in Salt Lake for two decades, Lisa already had a history with many of her co-stars. But that still didn’t prepare her for the drama the ladies brought when the cameras started rolling. “There’s a couple of [pot-stirrers],” she told Page Six. “Like, shockingly, a couple of them. I was surprised.” She went on to explain why she feels some housewives came off so dramatic onscreen. “I think some people are just naturally emotional and lead with emotion, so you got their natural, maybe even intensified emotion, but then I think there were some — two in particular — that would like anything for the camera.”
While she opted out of naming her frenemies, she did call out housewife Mary Cosby and referred to her as a “feisty little church woman.” The new Bravo star has already made media headlines ahead of the show’s premiere after it was revealed she married her late grandmother’s second husband in order to take over the family business. “I think when you first hear it, it’s like, ‘Wait, what? Who is Mary married to?’” Lisa said of Mary’s marriage. “And then when you really understand her story, I think people might have a different understanding or perspective of it.”
But don’t expect Lisa to bump heads with all of the housewives. She and Meredith Marks have an existing friendship that has lasted for 10 years. “We were set up on a friend date,” Lisa shared adding that filming with her made it “so much easier because I know what to expect from her.”
